Halloween will be here before you know it, and if you haven’t yet figured out what your little one is going to wear, you’d better do it soon!
When your child is just a baby, Halloween really serves three purposes:
1) You get to admire how cute your baby is in a costume.
2) You get to take lots of pictures but don’t need to go walk outside in the cold.
3) You get to eat all the candy you buy because your kid’s not old enough to eat it (oops).
I love Halloween, and I’ll be damned if a baby is going to stop me from enjoying costumes and candy.
Picking out a costume isn’t necessarily easy – they all look cute, and before you buy one, you need to have an argument with your spouse about which one you’re going to get.
We previously looked at the best Halloween costumes for a baby girl, but now it’s time to look at costumes for a baby boy.

Best Halloween Costumes for Baby Boy in 2020
As you read through this list, keep in mind that it’s subjective and in no particular order. These are just 11 baby boy costumes that we really liked and think you will too.
#1) The Little Monkey
To get this list started, how could we go with anything but the cute little monkey costume.
It’s adorable.
Functionally speaking, there are leg snaps that allow for easy diaper changing and, as a bonus for those of you in colder climates, it’s pretty warm and fuzzy too.

#2) Superman (or Superbaby)
This is a little romper costume with a removable cape. Perfect for your little Superman.
Consider having dad dress as Superman too, for a little father-son super hero duo.

#3) The Lil’ Monster
It’s the only costume that could make a scary monster look cute.
It’s a bright, colorful costume and has convenient slip-on booties.
Only thing to watch out for on this one is the size. Many who purchased it felt it was too large, so you may want to consider going a size smaller than you normally would.

#4) The T-Rex Dinosaur
With all of the recent Jurassic park movies, dinosaurs are IN as much as ever before.
If you or your son is into dinosaurs, this is an excellent costume that is sure to get a lot of attention.

#5) Elmo
My kid absolutely loves Elmo. There’s something about him that every kid seems to love.
So, why not BE Elmo for Halloween? 🙂

#6) “What a Hoot” Owl
This one’s just super adorable.
A colorful owl that’s sure to be a “hoot” with your friends and family (alright, I’ll stop with the terrible puns).

#7) The Lil’ Elephant
I can’t say I understand why, but this elephant costume has always been really popular.
I think it’s probably the big ears that make this one so hilariously cute.

#8) The Baby Fireman
I was going to call this the “Fire baby” instead of Baby Fireman, but that just sounded a bit weird.
This is a classic costume for those of you who want to stay away from TV and movie characters. Reviewers say it fits well, and it’s basically like putting your kid in pajamas (aside from the hood), which makes this an easy one to wear throughout the day.

#9) Baby Hatching T-Rex

I know this is our second T-Rex on the list, but what’s wrong with having more options for dinosaur costumes? This one’s cute for crawlers because it’s a dinosaur hatching from an egg.
If you’re into the dinosaur theme, this is another great option!

#10) Baby Lion
Here’s another great option if you’re looking for a cute baby animal costume.
Lions can be terrifying, but I’d say this one is anything but!

#11) Baby Shark
I hesitated to put this one on the list because I know some parents have had enough Baby Shark already, but for any who are brave enough to keep the Baby Shark train going, here’s a possibly good costume choice.
I know the picture above shows an older kid, but this one does come in an infant size as well.
