Best Indoor Bounce House for Home (your kids will thank you)

Best Indoor Bounce House for Home: We did the research and figured out the best bounce house that'll give your kids hours of fun indoors.

More than ever, parents have been looking for ways to keep their kids entertained at home.  We’ve already covered several other options (the Nugget couch, play kitchens, snow day activities, etc.) but today we’re going to focus on the best indoor bounce house for home.

When I was growing up, a bounce house was one of those rare things you only got to experience if some kid’s parents really splurged for a birthday party.  I certainly would never have dreamed of having one at my own house.

Times have changed. Now, you can own a bounce house, and it doesn’t have to break the bank. Of course, like anything else, you get what you pay for and there are a wide range of bounce houses that vary in quality based on price.

We took a look through some of the best indoor bounces houses for home and selected ones from across the spectrum.  Ones with huge slides, ones that are smaller and less expensive, and a few in between.

Let’s go!

Best Indoor Bounce House for Home

Here’s our list of the best indoor bounce houses for your home.  As mentioned above, we tried our best to select from a wide range – from small to big, expensive to inexpensive, with different features (ball pits, basketball hoops, etc.).

There are a lot of different kinds available!

#1 The Blast Zone Magic Castle

This is our top pick for best indoor bounce house for home.  It may not look like anything out of the ordinary, but we made this pick purely based on durability.

This is probably the closest you can come to a commercial grade bounce house without having to spend a ton of money.  Although the product recommends no more than 3-4 people at a time, reviewers have commented that they have had 5-6 people in there at a time and it has held up perfectly.  Durability is key when you’ve got a bunch of crazy kids jumping!

It also has really tall walls, yet still works well in most indoor places.  The extra-high walls and netting reach a full 5 feet from the bounce platform, but are low enough to sit below standard height ceilings.

With the included blower, it takes about a minute to set up, and the blower is meant to run continuously while the kids are playing in it.

Overall, this is a great option if you have a few young kids or plan to host a birthday party at your home.

#2 Little Tikes Jump ‘n Slide Bouncer

For something a little bit simpler (and less costly), this Little Tikes Jump ‘n Slide bouncer is pretty cool.

It’s durable (made of polyester), has a very wide slide, and can support 3 kids (up to 250 lbs.).  It’s big (12 ft. x 9 ft.), but not too big for indoor use.

Another great thing about this one is that you can set it up within a matter of a couple minutes – the blower inflates it really quickly.  And it comes down in just a few minutes as well.

One word of warning – the blower is a little loud. Not so loud that it can’t be used indoors, but just something to be aware of.  Overall though, this is a great choice if you’re looking for a solid mid-range bounce house.

#3 PicassoTiles Inflatable Bouncer Jumping Bouncing House

We included this one on this because of its size – it’s huge (12 x 10).  It can still be used indoors, but you’ll need a big room.  We also liked this one because it works well in rooms (such as a basement) with low ceilings, as this bounce house is relatively short even though it’s very wide.

Like many others, this one includes a slide and a large bouncy area. As a bonus, it also includes a built-in basketball rim with 4 sports balls (basketball, baseball, football, and soccer).

It has multiple points of entry (large entry on the back side and two smaller side entrances) and like most other larger bouncy houses, it recommends no more than 3 children at a time.

One thing that is commonly mentioned in the reviews is that this one feels like one you would normally rent, and costs almost the same as a rental.  So if you plan on renting one for a birthday party, it may be more economical to just buy one instead (and get to use it several times).

#4 AirMyFun Inflatable Bounce House (Big Slide!)

If your kids don’t care as much about a big bouncy area but they love slides, this one may be a good option.  Most other bounce houses have a slide, but they are short and really more for climbing in and out of the bounce house.

On this bounce house, the slide is the main attraction.  The slide is so large that 2-3 kids can slide down it simultaneously.

Much like the the others on this list, this bounce house/slide is quick to set up and take down.  It inflates in about 2 minutes.

#5 Intex Jump O Lene Castle Inflatable Bouncer (Budget Option)

If you’re not looking to spend a lot of money but you’re dead set on getting your kids a bouncy house, this is a decent option.

It’s not the best quality (obviously), but the reviews are mostly positive and this won’t break the bank.  At the time of writing, this one is about 20-25% of the cost of most other bounce houses.

In terms of size, this bounce house can support 2 kids (and up to 120 lbs.). You can easily turn it into a ball pit by buying some plastic balls (such as these).

One other big difference compared to the larger bounce houses – this one does not have a continuous blower and you will need to separately buy an air pump to blow it up.  It’s similar to blowing up an inflatable pool or air mattress.

Again, this is by no means a really high quality option, but if you are not looking to spend much and still want to create a fun experience for your little ones, it’s a decent option.

What are you waiting for? Bounce!

That concludes our search for the best indoor bounce house for home.  Depending on what you’re looking for, one of these five should be a great choice.

Personally, we decided to buy the Little Tikes bouncer because we got it for our basement, which has low ceilings.  Otherwise, we would have definitely considered the Blast Zone one.

It’s hard to go wrong though – the kids will love whatever you choose.
